Ebru holds a Graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy and is set to complete her Masters in Sports Physiotherapy in 2025. She graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy after completing a Bachelor of Science.
Ebru is the Rehabilitation Physiotherapist for the AFLW side at the Essendon Football Club.
Ebru holds a special interest in the management of Adolescent injuries and conditions affecting the hip & groin, knee and lower back. She has a keen interest in running-related injuries and return to sport. Ebru utilities a background in Pilates and exercise-based rehabilitation to help people overcome their own pain and functional challenges.
Whilst working in a private clinical setting, Ebru has worked with a number of sporting clubs including the Australian under 21’s Mens & Womens Ice Hockey team, the Melbourne Victory Women’s & Youth teams, Football Victoria State Development Programs.
Ebru herself played soccer to high level before transitioning to full time work.
Joanne (Jo) is an experienced Physiotherapist with a strong interest and skill set in adolescent injuries, acute sporting injuries, back pain and headaches. Jo holds a graduate Certificate in Sports Physiotherapy & set to complete her Sports Masters in 2025.
Jo is currently the Head Physiotherapist at Carlton FC in the VFLW. She has a strong history in working closely with semi-professional athletes in the WAFL and brings a tremendous ability to address an athletes pain or injury and ensure a fast and safe return to sport.
Jo takes great care in ensuring her clients receive the correct diagnosis and a thorough management plan for the very best outcome. Jo uses her strong manual therapy skills, which can include dry needling, joint mobilisation and soft tissue therapy, in conjunction with targeted rehabilitation exercises to build strength and true body resilience.
Jo herself played high level netball and completed in gymnastics. Outside of work you might Jo at the gym, cooking or going for walks.
Lauren excels in the management of pain & rehabilitation of the hip, groin & pelvic regions along with the ankle, neck & headaches. She has additional training in the diagnosis and treatment of vestibular disorders and dizziness. Lauren thrives on working with the sporting population utilising her knowledge from years of being involved with AFL, soccer, dance & rugby at state and national level sport.
Originally from Brisbane, Lauren is passionate about ensuring each patient is at the centre of her care where they feel heard and that their concerns are addressed in a timely manner. Lauren uses her hands on treatment skills, that include dry needling, along with her knowledge of targeted exercise and Pilates to get the optimal results.
Lauren is currently working closely with researchers at La Trobe University on a number of projects to enhance the evidence base for the physiotherapy profession. She is also a Physiotherapist the VFLM club Werribee where she works closely with the athletes on acute sporting injury management and the rehabilitation back to sport.
Rachel brings a breadth of experience to Complete Balance Physiotherapy having worked with several different sports teams in both Australia & the UK, including football, lacrosse, soccer, hockey and athletics.
Rachel completed her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in the UK and is currently studying for her Master’s in Sports Medicine at the University of Melbourne. She also has additional qualifications in Strength and Conditioning, Dry Needling & Pilates.

Andrew is an experienced Physiotherapist and is highly skilled at guiding you through your rehabilitation whether that be with specific reformer Pilates work or in the gym.
Andrew graduated with a Doctor of Physiotherapy at Macquarie University in Sydney after completing his Bachelor of Science with Honours at The University of Melbourne .
He has a vested interest in working with athletes of all levels as well as with gym enthusiasts. He has worked with many elite sporting teams and organisations including

– North Sydney Bears Rugby
He is currently a physiotherapist for the Essendon Football Club VFL program.
Andrew has experience internationally working across Europe within military groups spending time with human performance company EXOS. Andrew has also represented Australia internationally in weightlifting competing in the world championships, Commonwealths and Oceanias. He continues to coach athletes around the world in barbell sports.
Andrew takes on a strong manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation approach to facilitate optimal recovery for all his patients. He listens, enjoys getting to know what makes you tick and will find ways to best your rehab. He is particularly interested in hip and knee injuries. Andrew believes strongly in promoting good movement and building strength as the foundation of your treatment.
Beyond that, Andrew enjoys spending time with his young family, playing footy and talking food or travels.

Adam has been the head physiotherapist for a Senior EDFL football side over the last two years ensuring the athletes rehabilitation is a seamless process.
Adam uses a number of hands on treatment approaches to get his patients moving freely and feeling pain free whilst integrating his exercise based approach for more long term outcomes.
Adam is a qualified GLA:D practitioner meaning he has undertaken additional training in management of osteoarthritis related conditions. He is also a skilled Pilates instructor and has a strong background in gym based rehabilitation prescription.
Liam is Sports Physiotherapist who currently shares his time with us and the St Kilda Football Club (AFL). He has previously been the the Head Physiotherapist for the GWS Giants (AFL) Academy teams for the past four years. Prior to this he was the head physiotherapist for the Werribee Tigers in the VFL.
Liam completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Melbourne and has completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy & Exercise with La Trobe University.
Liam excels in the management of shoulder and hip related pain using a range of manual therapy and exercise techniques to get his clients pain free and at full capacity.
Liam has a passion for educating patients and providing knowledge regarding exercise and conditioning to manage their own health. Outside of work you might find Liam running laps at prince park or on the squash court.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys escaping the city and exploring nature, ocean swimming and traveling. She is currently working on improving her running skills, in an effort to compete in an Olympic distance triathlon.

Joss is currently the Head Physio for Western Bulldogs AFLW and traveling Physiotherapist for the Philippines National Rugby team. Prior to this, he has worked for A-league team Melbourne City FC, Sydney Swans TAC team and Head of Medical at Melbourne University Blacks Football Club.
Joss is an experienced physiotherapist with a keen interest in sports rehabilitation. He completed an undergraduate and Masters Physiotherapy degree at the University of Canberra before relocating to Melbourne. More recently, he has completed his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.
Joss has a particular interest in strength and conditioning, having completed his Australian Level 2 S&C qualification. Joss brings his wealth of expertise in the particular areas of post-surgical rehabilitation, back pain, running injuries and shoulder pain. He is experienced in all treatment streams including dry needling, joint mobilisation and soft tissue therapy.

Josie is a keen long distance runner with a special interest & skill set in addressing lower limb conditions for running based athletes. Josie has been the head physio for senior football teams and has undertaken additional training (GLA:D registered) meaning she has undertaken additional training in the management of Osteoarthritis along with dry needling and strength & conditioning.

Alex has until recently worked a the team physiotherapist for Adelaide Crows in AFL and is now the Head Physio for the Hawthorn Hawks AFLW program.
Alex is highly skilled with his hands on treatment and muscle re-training to quickly settle pain and achieve long-term solutions for his clients.
Alex also coordinates our field based rehabilitation session from our Tullarmarine clinic whilst consulting from both our Maribyrnong & Tullarmarine practices.
Nick is a Sports & Exercise Physiotherapist having completed a Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University. He completed is undergraduate Physiotherapy degree at Notre Dame University in Fremantle. Nick excels in working with sporting injuries and rehabilitation with a particular interest in troublesome hip & groin pain, recurrent hamstring injuries, tendon pain & post surgical rehab.
Nick is the Head Physiotherapist at the Essendon Football Club therefore only consults a few hours a week at CB Physio.

Jess is an experienced Myotherapist who currently shares her time at Complete Balance with her role as the Lead Myotherapist at the Essendon Football Club. Jess completed her studies in Myotherapy at RMIT University.
Jess has a keen interest in helping her patients overcome pain and to reach optimal health. Jess adopts a holistic approach to cater her treatment to the clients wishes incorporating a range of methods such as cupping, muscle energy, dry needling, trigger point therapy, deep tissue, remedial & relaxation massage.

Ben excels in the management of a range of conditions from sports injuries to back, neck and shoulder pain. Ben is a very experienced Physiotherapist who, before working at CB Physio, managed a busy private practice and consulted on difficult cases for BHP Billiton.
Ben was previously the Essendon Football Club VFL Rehabilitation Physiotherapist and holds a graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy.
Ben has an interest in treating and preventing a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and getting his clients back to full function quickly. He is trained in the use of Real-Time Ultrasound and dry needling which both act as an excellent adjunct to his range of treatment approaches.
Outside of work Ben has a keen interest in numerous sports, predominantly Australian Rules Football. Other interests include camping, fishing and cooking. Ben is also a proud new father of Archie with his wife Kate.

Tanya is a Senior Physiotherapist with a special interest in:
Tanya shares her time at CB Physio with her role as team Physio for the Nth Melbourne AFL Football Club. Tanya was previously been the Head Physiotherapist for the Carlton & Geelong Football Clubs AFLW programs and consulted with the Sydney Swans AFL. She has also worked at the Essendon Football Club as a Rehabilitation Physio in VFLW program.
Tanya graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice. She has since completed her Masters in Sports & Exercise Physiotherapy.
Through a combination of manual therapy and rehabilitative exercise, Tanya is able to address the underlying cause of a patient’s condition and ultimately lay a platform to prevent recurrent issues in the future.
