Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist?

No referral is required for private physiotherapy appointments. You can book directly with our team for assessment and treatment. Referrals are only required if you are claiming under specific funding schemes such as WorkCover or TAC.

Can I see a physiotherapist with a GP referral?

Yes. If you have been referred by your GP or specialist, please bring your referral documentation to your appointment. This helps us understand your medical history and align treatment with your broader care plan.

Do you accept specialist or surgeon referrals?

Yes. We regularly work with orthopaedic surgeons, sports physicians, and other medical specialists to deliver structured rehabilitation programs. Collaboration ensures your rehabilitation aligns with surgical protocols and recovery goals.

What referrals are required for TAC or WorkCover claims?

For TAC or WorkCover claims, you will need an approved claim number and relevant medical documentation, such as a certificate of capacity or referral from your doctor. Our team can guide you through the process prior to your first appointment.

Can you refer me for imaging or specialist review if needed?

Yes. If clinically indicated, our physiotherapists can refer or recommend specialist consultation to support accurate diagnosis and effective management of your condition.
