Joanne Cheyne - Physiotherapist
Joanne (Jo) is an experienced physiotherapist with a strong interest and skill set in adolescent injuries, sporting injuries, knees, ankles, and post operative management. Jo studied at the prestigious University of Notre Dame, Fremantle and is currently completing her Masters of Sport and Exercise Physiotherapy at La Trobe University.
Jo works closely with semi-professional athletes in her role as VFL Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at Carlton Football Club as well as previously working as Head Physiotherapist at Carlton VFLW and within the WAFL (stage league football in WA).
Jo strives to provide her patients with the best level of care, including a clear diagnosis and management plan to address their goals. Jo combines her strong manual therapy skills, including dry needling and her experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach and Rehabilitation Physio to provide her patients with clear and achievable rehabilitation plan which are personalised to each client’s needs. Jo also currently works out of Maribyrnong Sports Academy where she treats adolescent athletes across a variety of sports.
Outside of work you will find Jo at the gym or exploring the local Melbourne Cafes.
